Our goal is to grow Christians through sound bible-based teaching and a healthy prayer-life.

We all begin as spiritual infants - but then we seek to become mature in our faith so that, as the Bible puts it: "...if you are asked about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it" (1 Peter 3:15 NLT)

Hebrews 5 talks about Christians who had not progressed beyond basic knowledge of their faith; the writer rebukes them, telling them that they should be teachers by now.

We seek to grow teachers, that they may in turn teach others, and so on, generation after generation.




Worship We want our times of praise and worship to be both intimate and lively, free from formal contraints, embracing many of today's best-loved worship songs


Prayer

We want to see prayer as a cornerstone in the hearts and minds of all believers. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 6 that we are in a spiritual battle, and the most effective weapon in our armoury is prayer. Nothing on earth can stop it, because its power lies beyond that of the physical world.

2 corinthians 10:3-4 says:  3For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.
