Sutton Midweek Church

Here at Sutton Midweek Church we practice full immersion baptism.

The Bible teaches that when someone accepts Jesus into their life and becomes a believer that they should be baptised in water, in the Name of the Father ,Son and Holy Spirit, the word baptism comes from the latin "baptismo" which means to submerse.

Baptism symbolises dying with Christ (submersion into the water) and being ressurected with Christ (coming up out of the water) it was a comand by Jesus to His follower to be baptised so thats why we do it.
